Your Principal Aerospace Consultant is responsible for guiding your business through the entire certification journey, from initial GAP Analysis through to successful AS9100 or AS9120 certification.
They will:

Assess your current position through a detailed GAP Analysis

Design a Management System built around how your business actually operates

Implement the Management System across the business
-
Conduct a full system Internal Audit
-
Support you through the Management Review process
-
Prepare your business for External Audit
-
Manage and support all Stage 1 and Stage 2 activity with the certification body
This ensures your system is not just compliant on paper, but genuinely audit-ready and operationally effective.
Experience and Qualifications:

10+ years of Aerospace Quality experience
-
Multiple successful AS9100 and AS9120 projects delivered
-
IAQG-sanctioned AATT certified
-
Working toward, or already holding, Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) / Aerospace Auditor (AA) status
Your Principal Aerospace Consultant takes ownership of the project end-to-end, acting as the main interface with the certification body and guiding your business through to successful certification.

Once your business is certified, your Lead Aerospace Consultant becomes your main point of contact for maintaining compliance and supporting continual improvement.
They will:

Conduct Internal Audits across your Management System
-
Manage Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)

Support and conduct Management Reviews
-
Help maintain compliance with AS9100 / AS9120 requirements

Keep your Management System audit-ready year after year
-
Support ongoing operational and process improvements
This gives your business long-term stability and support, not just a certificate.
Experience and Qualifications:

5+ years of Quality and/or Aerospace experience

Strong Internal Auditing and Implementation experience

IAQG-sanctioned AS9100 / AS9120 Lead Auditor or AATT certified
Your Lead Aerospace Consultant supports the long-term performance of your management system, conducting Internal Audits, managing CAPA activity, supporting Management Reviews, and helping your business maintain ongoing compliance after certification.

Your Aerospace Consultants support project delivery, helping maintain momentum, consistency, and efficiency throughout the implementation process.
They will:

Support Principal and Lead Aerospace Consultants with system development and documentation

Assist with Management System implementation activity
-
Support Internal Audit delivery and evidence gathering
-
Help maintain structure, consistency, and document control across the project
-
Deliver defined elements of the system under Lead or Principal Aerospace Consultant oversight
All work completed by an Aerospace Consultant is reviewed and approved by a Lead or Principal Aerospace Consultant before being issued to your business.
Experience and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience within ISO 9001 environments

Often from certification body, engineering, manufacturing, or consultancy backgrounds
-
IRCA CQI ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualified
-
Developing AS9100/AS9120 and Aerospace sector experience
Your Aerospace Consultant supports the practical delivery of the project, assisting with system build, audit preparation, documentation, and implementation activity under the guidance and review of a Lead or Principal Aerospace Consultant.
